Friends & Family Courses

The following courses are being run this year by the Outdoor Education Service

If you wish to attend any of the courses, please download an information request form, (Click Here), complete it and send it to the Centre running the course.

All our courses are staffed by fully qualified professional coaches and will be delivered in locations relevant to the course concerned. All specialist equipment and clothing such as waterproofs, wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets, boots etc are provided by the Centre, however if you have your own equipment, you are always welcome to bring it with you.

The cost of all our courses includes full board and lodging, all instruction, transport whilst at the Centre and the loan of all equipment. For those staying residentially, all bed linen is provided, but please bring your own towels.

 

Wet and Wild

This 2 day course is based on having a go at everything. There will be canoing, kayaking, body boarding and waveskiing available. Come expecting to get wet and wild in a safe and supportive environment.

Family fun in the Lake District

This 3 day course could be the ideal opportunity for you to relax and get away from it all!

Family fun at Bewerley Park

This weekend course is open to all children who would like to bring their parents along and all enjoy a weekend of activities at Bewerley Park! Children must be accompanied by at least one parent.

A fun weekend of outdoor activities, which may include: Canoeing, Climbing, Caving, Rafting, Ropes Course, Orienteering, Swimming.

The activities will be tailored to suit the ages of children and parents alike.
