Bushcraft Courses
The following courses are being run this year by the Outdoor Education Service

The cost of all our courses includes full board and lodging, all instruction, transport whilst at the Centre and the loan of all equipment.
This is an introductory course to bushcraft of approximately 48 hours duration. A chance to “go native” and learn a selection of essential bushcraft skills. It will have mainly practical sessions based in a woodland camp. Both nights will be spent outdoors, either in a tent or a shelter which you have built.
You will learn:
• Safety & basic campcraft
• Safe use of cutting tools
• Fire lighting methods
• Lightweight camping systems
• Shelter building
• Making water safe to drink
• Plant and tree uses
• Backwoods cookery
