Mountain Bike Instructor Award Scheme
North Yorkshire Outdoor Education Service has one Centre registered with MIAS as a training and assessment establishment. As such we are able to provide courses from beginners to advanced level mountain biking. In addition, we also run introductory and development courses which do not lead to MIAS qualification.
For further information about MIAS, please click here.
The following courses are being run this year by the Outdoor Education Service
If you wish to attend any of the courses, please download an information request form, (Click Here), complete it and send it to the Centre running the course.
All our mountain bike courses are staffed by fully qualified professional coaches and will be delivered in locations relevant to the course concerned. All specialist equipment and clothing such as waterproofs, bikes, armour and helmets etc are provided by the Centre, however if you have your own equipment, you are always welcome to bring it with you.
The cost of all our courses includes full board and lodging, all instruction, transport whilst at the Centre and the loan of all equipment. For those staying residentially, all bed linen is provided, but please bring your own towels.
