Surf Kayak and Paddlesurf Courses

The following courses are being run this year by the Outdoor Education Service

If you wish to attend any of the courses, please download a booking form, (Click Here), complete it and send it to the Centre running the course.

All our paddling courses are staffed by fully qualified professional coaches and will be delivered in locations relevant to the course concerned. All specialist equipment and clothing such as waterproofs, wetsuits, buoyancy aids, boats etc is provided by the Centre, however if you have your own equipment, you are always welcome to bring it with you.

The cost of all our courses includes full board and lodging, all instruction, transport whilst at the Centre and the loan of all equipment. For those staying residentially, all bed linen is provided, but please bring your own towels.

Discover Kayak Surf

Never been in a kayak on the sea before? Then this could be your opportunity to learn the essential skills of the surf. Based from East Barnby Centre, the course will make use of surf available in the local area.

You will need to have reasonable boat handling skills and the ability to roll your kayak before you attend this course.

Kayak Surf Skills

Regular player in the surf? Feel the need to up your skill level? Then this could be the course for you.

You will need to have reasonable boat handling skills and the ability to roll your kayak before you attend this course.
