Bird Box Cam Launched at East Barnby

East Barnby Centre has recently invested in a micro camera which is installed in one of the bird nest boxes dotted around the site.

The box has been inhabited by a pair of tree sparrows, the lesser known and more shy version of the common sparrow.

The pair are now raising their second set of chicks for this year and pupils and visitors are enjoying the opportunity to watch the chicks grow as their parents fly in and out feeding them throughout the day.
