The Outdoor Education Service runs a number of Adult Interest courses at its centres across North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Many of these allow adults to have an introduction to various outdoor activities over weekends throughout the year. Some courses are aimed at people who wish to improve their skills, whilst the Leader Training courses are often National Governing Body training and assessment courses designed to allow candidates to lead groups of young people in these activities.
