Activities

Humphrey Head is situated 10 miles south of Lake Windermere on the shores of Morecambe Bay. The Centre stands on a limestone peninsula which stretches out for almost a mile into the sandbanks and mudflats of the bay. This superbly positioned, isolated building overlooks the tidal estuary of the River Kent with its vast population of birdlife. Nearby are the fells and lakes of the Lake District National Park, giving boundless opportunity for study and activity.
