How To Make A Booking

Types of booking available

1. Curriculum time visit

Allocations of places for schools and other educational establishments are made a year in advance. Places are offered to North Yorkshire establishments first (bids being taken in the Autumn Term for the following academic year). Spare places are then released to all other clients by December for the following academic year.

2. Weekend or school holiday visit (extra curricular time)

In order to increase availability, bookings are taken for weekend or school holiday period courses. School holiday periods include Half terms in February, May and October; 2 weeks at Easter and late July/August. These bookings are handled on a “first come, first served” basis and not so far in advance as curriculum time visits.

3. Outreach or Day use of Centres

All requests are dealt with as they are received. These bookings; centre-based; school-based or venue based by arrangement, can include educational groups; Corporate/Management training days; Fun Activity Days etc.

5. Self-Catering

(available at Humphrey Head and Great Fryupdale only)

This option can be combined with qualified centre staff for delivery of activities.
