Paddlesport – UKCC coaching awards

Inspire the next generation of paddlers.

UKCC Level 1 Coach

This is an entry level coaching qualification aimed at those who are new to paddlesport coaching. Throughout our training and assessment we aim to provide a balance or practical skills with technical knowledge and understanding so that you develop an awareness and practice of a broad range of coaching skills and techniques.

This qualification is not discipline specific and is suitable for coaches who work with paddlers from the competitive and non-competitive disciplines. The level 1 coach can plan, deliver and review short coaching sessions, normally with the support of a more qualified coach. They have specific training to help coach paddlers in their first year of activity and help run taster sessions.

Our Level 1 combined training and assessment courses run over 5 days with residential and non-residential options available.
