FAQs
what age are your holidays clubs for?
Young people between the age of 8 and 14
will young people be with others the same age?
We will do our best to ensure young people are in groups with others similar in age.
will young people be supervised at all times?
Yes, their outdoor tutors will be with them at all times except when it is judged appropriate for remote supervision like when they are doing a treasure hunt for example.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Each day the programme of activities will be looked at and the weather conditions affecting that environment taken in to account. A decision will be made based on the groups’ ability and environmental conditions.
Remember, there is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing…and we have all the appropriate clothing 🙂
can young people come on specific days only?
You can book your young person to come for one day, specific days, or for the full duration of the holiday club – its entirely up to you.
Will young people be able to take their mobile phone?
Yes, young people are allowed to bring their mobiles phones, although we do not advise that mobile phones are taken out on activity as they can be easily damaged/dropped in water.
Our outdoor tutors all carry mobile phones should they be needed in case of an emergency.
