driver training

For many employers it is a requirement for staff who are driving minibuses to attend minibus driver training, in addition to holding the relevant driving licence entitlement.  The Community Transport Association MiDAS certificate is a nationally recognised qualification recognised by many Local Authorities and major insurance companies.

Delegates will, if successful, be awarded with a Midas certificate which is valid for four years. A standard driver’s course should last at least four hours, although for logistical reasons the course is at least six hours long. We would advise that you attend refresher training before your certificate expires. If you aren’t able to attend your refresher training before your certificate expires in certain circumstances CTA will issue a certificate extension.
